As a partner at Hiller PC, my practice focuses on corporate, securities and financing matters for public and private companies, investment banks, private equity firms and high-net worth individuals. I am considered a leading authority on alternatives to traditional initial public offerings, including the new Regulation A+. I published a book on that subject, called Regulation A+ and Other Alternatives to a Traditional IPO (John Wiley & Sons), in 2018. Since 2013 I have also been representing companies and investors in the emerging cannabis industry. In fact, in April 2019 the global guide Chambers & Partners ranked me as a leading US attorney in cannabis law and one of only seven US lawyers in "band 1" for corporate and transactional work in the industry. In addition, in October 2018 the National Law Journal named me a "Cannabis Law Trailblazer" and in January 2019 Business Insider named me as a top lawyer in the cannabis industry. I have also published The Entrepreneur's Growth Startup Handbook: 7 Secrets to Venture Funding and Growth Success (2013) and the award-winning Reverse Mergers and Other Alternatives to a Traditional IPO (First Edition 2006, Second Edition 2009). I also pen the "Blunt Legal Talk" column on cannabis law for Honeysuckle magazine and am a contributor to Entrepreneur.com on cannabis issues. Additionally, I frequently speak on cannabis as well as corporate matters and issues that small and mid-sized companies face, and am active on social media. I am also co-founder, President & CEO of Skip Intro Advisors, LLC, a cannabis consulting firm focused on strategic advisory, financial consulting, branding and technology. My blog (www.DavidFeldmanBlog.com) on entrepreneurship, cannabis and the regulatory environment, has been recognized by LexisNexis as a Top 25 corporate law blog, and my videos appear on my YouTube channel, The Entrepreneur’s Advocate.

Skip Intro Advisors
April 2020 - present
Skip Intro Advisors was conceived to address a need: growing marijuana and hemp businesses have been forced to seek out legal, strategic, financial, branding, technology and regulatory advice from many different players — often of inconsistent quality, cost, and responsiveness.
The Skip Intro founding team was inspired to combine A-list pros from the cannabis industry with mainstream movers and shakers to join forces, level up, and meet demand. This extraordinary squad brings focus, talent, and business acumen to this vital space, to address all business needs in a single, reasonably priced, one-stop shop. The booming cannabis market waits for no one, regardless of challenges on the legal front, the pandemic, or otherwise.
