What is the (U) looking symbol on my Maple Syrup label? Would it be relevant for cannabis?

The U means “certified as kosher” by the Orthodox Union. It has nothing to do with cannabis related goods, or protecting any IP related to your cannabis products. Unless, that is, you want to make your cannabis infused syrup kosher. And I don't have any current knowledge about the Orthodoc Union's stance on cananbis as a kosher ingredient to food stuffs. Best of luck on your syrup!
